SUPERINTENDENT OF BUFFALO PARK NOW APPOINTED

————

A permanent superintendent of the Buffalo Park has been appointed in the person of A. G. Smith of Edmonton who has already arrived in Wainwright to assume control of the reserve. W. H. Courtice who for some time past has been acting superintendent, will leave early next week to take over temporary superintendency of Jasper Park west of Edmonton.

Mr. Courtice during his residence here has made a large number of friends all of whom will be sorry to see him leave. The official superintendent of Jasper Park, Col. Maynard Rogers, is at present with the Empire’s forces in France and until such time as he returns or other arrangements made, Mr. Courtice will have control.
