Natural increases of 204 buffalo are reported to have taken place at Buffalo Park during the present year. With this added number, animals of this species now being kept within the park’s confines amount to about 2000. Natural increases of 3 moose, 11 elk are also reported, bringing the total number of the former now at the park to 15, and the latter to within the neighborhood of 54.
According to Superintendent McTaggart, conditions at the park are in excellent shape. The large acreage sown down to oats has made good progress during the season and with a continuance of fine weather, cutting of oats will be commenced at the beginning of next week.
