Buffalo Hunt Declared Off

————

U. S. Secretary of the Interior Says That Hunt Would be in Violation of Game Laws

————

The finishing touches were put on the proposed buffalo hunt, planned by Howard Douglas, last week, when the Secretary of the Interior of the United States made the announcement that the hunt would not be allowed on the grounds that such a procedure would be in direct violation of the United States game laws.

The local members of the party, which was to go to the ranch of Michael Pablo, are now reconciled to the fact that there is nothing doing in the buffalo chase. Mayor Pawling and M. L Forster are receiving correspondence from Howard Douglas, concerning the matter and even yet, they are informed that there is a slight possibility of the hunt taking place.

The fact that no Americans are able to join in the hunt, is a bitter pill for the Americans to swallow and the cause of the hunt being called off, lay in the numerous complaints offered by them, to the United States Government.

Pablo will now be unable to complete his contract, made with the Dominion Government as these outlaw bulls are still running wild, among the rest of the herd.
