"Buffalo" Fan Visits Wainwright

————

H. V. Radford, the distinguished scientist and big game hunter, who enjoys the distinction of having shot the largest wood bison ever known, was a visitor to Wainwright on Wednesday of this week. He came here especially to see the buffalo and went into raptures over the magnificent herd in the "Buffalo Park."

Mr. Radford, who is one of the greatest living authorities on the buffalo, left here last night for Edmonton, and from there will leave on a five years’ trip into the Peace River country, exploring and collecting data concerning the wild animals that abound in that country.

Supt. Ed. Ellis gave Mr. Radford much information concerning the habits of the buffalo, and the two had a great talk about their favorites in the animal kingdom.
