Will Start New Buffalo Park

Howard Douglas, superintendent of government parks, in speaking to a reporter in Edmonton after his return from Wainwright, stated that there were now one hundred and twenty-five young buffalo calves and seven hundred and twenty head of fully-grown buffalo in the Wainwright park. He also stated that there was enough hay in the park to winter the entire herd.

Mr. Douglas stated that another buffalo park at Moose Mountain, north of Regina. This range, he said, was now ready, and it was the intention of the government to ship ten carloads there as soon as possible.
