Buffalo Calf Crop Good

————

Remainder of Pablo Herd Will Arrive Here in About Two Weeks, Says Howard Douglas.

————

Howard Douglas of Banff, commissioner of Dominion parks, spent yesterday in the city. He will leave in a couple of weeks for Ravalli, Montana, to superintend the bringing of the remainder of the Pablo herd of buffalo to Alberta. There will be about 100 animals in the shipment, which will be placed in the buffalo park at Wainwright. The calf crop at the park, he says, is very good this spring and the animals wintered in splendid condition. They have become quite contented with their partial captivity and are comparitively domesticated.——Strathcona Plaindealer.
