Over 630 Buffalo in the Park

————

At the present time there are over 630 buffalo in the park here. The mammoth animals have been very little trouble to the keepers this winter, owing to the very mild weather and as a consequence there has been but little hay fed to them. They are in splendid shape, rolling in fat, and seem to be more than contented in their new home at the Buffalo Park.

The young moose which were recently received are also doing nicely, and if the intentions of the authorities to have a number of these animals in the park also are carried out there will be a good variety of game here before long. With the deer, the buffalo, the moose and an elk, there will be an added attraction to visitors to the park. At present the moose are enclosed in the hay corral.
