Vice Regal Party Visits Wainwright’s Big Park

Earl Grey, Governor-General of the Dominion, and party, stopped off here for a few hours on Saturday on their way to Winnipeg, and were driven out to the Buffalo Park and given an opportunity to see the greatest herd of Buffalo in the world.

The party were delighted with the trip and His Excellency stated that in time this Park would attract tourists from all parts of the world.

He is making his first trip over the line of the Grand Trunk Pacific, which he calls one of the marvels of Canadian development.

"The west is going ahead by leaps and bounds," he said, "and the growth of this province will be greatly helped by the new transcontinental. A glance at this marvellous town, the growth of a year, would convince any person who was the least bit skeptical."
