The Buffalo Arrive on Tuesday

Rushing Shipment of Lamont Herd

The Loading Finished Tomorrow

————

Edward Ellis, superintendent of the Buffalo Park left for Lamont on Monday to superintend the loading of the buffalo herd at that place for shipment to Wainwright.

The herd has been corralled for the past week in readiness for shipment immediately after the arrival of the Montana herd, but owing to the high price of feed at Lamont and the delay in shipment of the Pablo bunch it was deemed advisable to remove the former herd at once.

The Star has received the following wire:

Lamont, June 10, ’09

The Star, Wainwright—Eight cars of buffalo already loaded and should finish loading Saturday. Ought to be in Wainwright on Tuesday.

Ed. Ellis.
