Lynda’s father, Len Goble, was with the Armed Forces and received a portion of his training in Camp Wainwright. The view of Main Street dates the picture as before 1952, as the Park Hotel has yet to fill the left corner of the street. The location of the Empress Cafe is now a vacant lot. _________image_________ Yes, the road to camp was muddy! Railway turntable bricks were later used as a base support for this road.
